Kickstart Scheme Jobs at NORI HR & Employment Law
HR and Employment Law firm NORI HR have commenced the recruitment of up to 77 new employees through the Governments Kickstart Scheme jobs creation initiative.
The scheme, created in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, aims to reduce the risk of long-term unemployment for people aged 16 to 24. In addition, the scheme will support young people to develop their personal employment skills, provide experience within the workplace and help them move into sustained employment after they have completed the 6 month programme.
Complete Recruitment & Training Programme through the Kickstart Scheme
NORI HR Operations Director Lisa Struthers said “As soon as Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced the initiative in July 2020, we didn’t hesitate to take the opportunity to support young people, especially within the pandemic”.
“Job opportunities have obviously reduced throughout lockdown and whilst this affects all age groups, we understand how young people’s prospects of employment have reduced dramatically. Almost 12 months of lockdown, particularly in the hospitality industry where many young people first enter employment, means there has been no opportunity for young people to gain any experience in the workplace.”
Lisa explained “One focus of the scheme is to provide personal development training both pre and post appointment. This means applicants will receive support with their initial CV writing and interview preparation. Successful applicants will then be provided with a wide range of ongoing training including a personal development plan and specific skills required to fulfil their role as Trainee Business Development Managers.”

The team have welcomed me with open arms and the training they have provided has not only helped me develop my marketing skills, it also helped me build my confidence by involving me in all the marketing plans and decision making.
