This is an amazing achievement considering that NORi HR was only founded by Jason and Amrita in July 2019 and follows our first win in this prestigious awards ceremony having won New Business of the Year 2020.
Rob Carder, from organisers Enterprising People started the Hyndburn Business Awards in 2016 to celebrate and recognise the achievements of our local businesses.
As the Beacon Award was announced, Rob introduced us as; “The business that has won the Beacon Award this year only started trading in the summer of 2019. They will be two years old at the end of this month”.
“Judging by what was described in their entry, they have clearly put in place all the structures required for rapid growth as a business, and this rapid growth is taking place despite the pandemic”.
“In March 2020, they would have been eligible for the MicroBusiness category, had they not still been a new business. By March 2021, they were firmly in the Small Business category, recruiting staff to manage the business they had successfully won and preparing for the next stage of growth”.
“It’s all very impressive for a business that is in a crowded sector. The winner of the Hyndburn Business Awards Beacon Award for 2021 is NORi HR and Employment Law.”
All about supporting our community, employees and clients
One of our Managing Directors, Jason Govindji-Bruce, said: “Now we have a second trophy to go with last year’s. I knew we had done a lot, but we did not want to get big headed and didn’t think that we could have been in the running for the Beacon Award. We are all about supporting our clients and supporting our network associates and to be recognised locally is nice; it really is a massive shock.”
