Furlough Changes Effective As Of 1st July 2021

Furlough changes come into effect on the 1st July 2021 and it is important you are aware of the processes and financial conditions.

Some of the elements to consider include:

• From the 1st July the level of grant employers can claim will reduce.
• 1st July 2021- Employers will have to contribute 10% to the furloughed wages (maximum of £312.50)
• Furloughed employee must still get 80% of their wages (maximum of £2,500 per month for any unworked hours).
• The Job Retention Scheme will pay up to 70% to the furloughed wages (maximum of £2,187.50 per month.)
