New Colne FC Stadium Sponsor Announced as NORI HR
NORI HR And Employment Law are delighted to add another local community support initiative to their Corporate Social Responsibility projects as the new Colne FC Stadium Sponsor at the club’s Holt House home.
As the headline Colne FC Stadium Sponsor, the ground has been renamed ‘The NORI Stadium’ and comes on the back of other positive changes at the club over the last 12 months.
The appointment of new Colne FC Chairman Glenn Stock and Co- Chairman Darren Harrison in October 2022 has seen the club focus on the development of stronger community links benefiting the club and local area regeneration.
In March 2023, Colne FC opted to become a Society for Community Benefit. That means the club is owned by the fans and not one individual, marking a cultural change from the headline ownership takeovers of billionaires with the football pyramid. There are currently only 46 fan owned clubs in England and Wales.
Having seen the community become a real focus of the clubs off-field activities, NORI HR and Employment Law’s owners Amrita and Jason Govindji-Bruce were attracted to see how they could lend their support.
Amrita and Jason join the Colne FC Board
The partnership will also see Amrita and Jason join the club’s board as Vice Chair and support with other local club initiatives and overall growth.
NORI HR Co-Managing Director Jason Govindji-Bruce commented: “Getting involved with Colne FC was a natural fit for both Amrita, myself and the values of NORI HR. We have always been passionate supporters of local charities and causes and the vision the board of Colne FC presented, truly excited us. The club being a Society for Community Benefit, introducing new Women’s and Youth teams and family ticket initiatives meant it was a clear choice for us to get involved and show our unwavering support as the Colne FC Stadium Sponsor.”
Chairman Glenn Stock added “We have seen the way that NORI HR And Employment Law have grown as a business and supported local communities having raised an incredible £60,000 in three years for local causes”.
“Their support in sponsoring the stadium provides key financial investment. Their addition to the board as Vice Chair will enable us to tap into their successful business acumen and support the club to continue it’s growth strategy off the field, which will naturally assist with on the field success”.
