lovelocalexpo
On Wednesday 26th April, the expo was hosted at Impact Conferencing, Burnley. The expo was a fantastic opportunity for businesses to connect, network, and learn from each other.
Over 50 businesses from a range of businesses exhibited. Throughout the day there was the opportunity to speak to the exhibitors, do some networking, and listen to different seminars from industry experts.
The five different seminars were hosted by professionals from a range of businesses including the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce. We listened to expert sessions exploring topics from improving marketing strategy and streamlining operations to saving money and the planet. HR expert and NORI HR and Employment Law’s Co-Managing Director, Amrita Govindji-Bruce hosted a workshop.

Free HR clinic
As Headline Sponsors of the lovelocalexpo, we also hosted a free HR clinic for businesses attending the event. The clinic provided businesses with an opportunity to meet with HR professionals one-on-one to discuss and receive advice about a range of HR topics. Questions typically focused on the changes made to Employment Law for 2023, and how it has been affecting them.
The clinic was a valuable resource for businesses, especially those with limited HR knowledge and resources.
