Sub36 Award Finalists At The Double
NORI HR & Employment Law Director Jason Govindji-Bruce-Bruce has been named as ‘Professional of the Year’ finalist in the SUB36 Awards 2020.
In addition, NORI HR as a company has also been recognised for its amazing growth as finalists in the New Business Award 2020 Sub36 Awards.
The Sub36 Awards, which celebrate the best up-and-coming business talent in Lancashire, aims to honour Lancashire’s most influential, innovative and inspiring business people aged 36 and under.
Winners will have first been nominated by clients or peers in business, then had formal applications, presentations and interviews scrutinised by judging panels made up of independent business experts.
Client Nomination and Approved by Judges
Jason had been nominated in the Professional of the Year award category by a NORI HR client. Jason explained “The client hadn’t told me they were going to do this, so it was a great surprise to receive an email from Sub36 Awards to say a client had nominated me for Professional of the Year award.”
“I then had to submit a formal application to judges which was a great experience. We are all so busy planning and looking ahead to the future, we can forget to look back on the recent past and where we have come from. To put this in writing and then hear the judges have read my journey and recognised the hard work, dedication and success of the business as a whole is a very proud moment.”
Jason championed the awards explaining “When I look at all the finalists throughout all the categories, it demonstrates that Lancashire is thriving with young and budding entrepreneurs. It is great to be associated with the counties success, especially in the Professional of the Year award”.
New Business of the Year Award Finalists
The company, NORI HR & Employment Law, was also nominated and has been named finalists in the Sub36 ‘New Business of the Year Award 2020’.
This award highlights businesses in Lancashire that have been trading for less that 3 years, with Directors under 36 years of age and already showing signs of success and starting to grow.
This recognition follows on from NORI HR recently winning the ‘Most Trusted HR & Employment Law Lancashire awarded by SME News in July 2020 and named finalists in the Hyndburn Business Awards 2020.
Jason continued “We put our story forward to the judges and it is great to see they’ve recognised how we have grown.”
“When we look back over the last 12 months, we have onboarded new clients from a wide range of sectors, recruited 2 business development managers, invested in our support infrastructure and processes, gained CPD accreditation, created an internal staff training programme and navigated our way through the Covid-19 pandemic.”
“This has been a complete team effort and we are delighted as a team to have been recognised in this way.”
The Sub36 Awards finalists will now deliver presentations and take questions from the judges, with the winners being announced on 22nd October.
