Employment Law Changes
It’s been a whirlwind for the Employment Law community in the past couple of years with all the changes that have taken place and are proposed in 2023.
We understand it’s hard to keep up with and see how changes will affect your business on a day-to-day basis. Some changes don’t always make the press headlines, so we are running a seminar to allow you to check-in and make sure you’ve not missed any changes. Equally, this session will help you better understand the changes, implications and identify what considerations and policies need to change in your business to remain compliant and reduce risk.
Topics will include the changes to Increase to statutory maternity, adoption, paternity, and shared parental pay, minimum wage including considers of age, £hourly rates, development rates, young workers rate and apprentice rate.
Myth Buster: Annual Leave
Now that you are all updated we will then we move on to some myth busting!
Annual leave is a statutory entitlement for every employee and worker, however there are obligations that you have as an employer and obligations that your employees have to you.
These obligations are sometimes misinterpreted or forgotten, so we are here to unearth those forgotten rules and ensure you can manage annual leave in an effective and compliant manner on the run up to the summer holidays.
1:2:1 With an Employment Law Expert
After the seminar you will have an opportunity to have a 5 minute one to one in a breakout room with an Employment Law expert. You can a discuss any pressing issues and get compliant and commercially relevant advice straight away.
