IR35 Employment Status and CCO are on the governments agenda and business owners need to understand how this could affect them
NORI HR and STS (Europe) are partnering together to bring you an insightful webinar, based around the latest changes to the IR35 employment status legislation. We will be exploring the link between IR35 and employment law and the importance of not breaching the Corporate Criminal Offence.
NORI HR will provide an overview of how IR35 impacts the employment status of an individual and try and cut through much of the confusion around self-employed individuals, workers and employees. Recent high profile cases such as Eamonn Holmes, Lorraine Kelly and Uber will be discussed as well as the stance being taken by certain industry bodies such as the SIA (Security Industry Authority).
What is CCO Corporate Criminal Offence and Relations with IR35 Employment Status?
STS (Europe) will provide an update on HMRC’s Corporate Criminal Offence, which will include the background to the creation of the legislation and HMRC’s view on non-compliance with the law.
We will then follow up with a discussion understanding the relationship between IR35 and the Corporate Criminal Offence and how to create a robust defence against prosecution.
This an important subject to ensure you are aware of the ins and outs of the new laws that could directly affect your business and how you operate as an organisation, for your employees and yourself.
